Comic Studio

Pages, panels and lettering — a graphic novel, a webtoon, a strip.

Pages, panels and lettering — a graphic novel, a webtoon, a strip. The hardest problem it has is the one already solved here, a character who must be the same in every panel being a locked reference. The assembler is not: page layout, gutters, balloon placement and reading order are a compositor's job, not ffmpeg's. Likely a separate product on this engine rather than a Studio.

This Studio is planned, not built. It is here so the shape is visible and can be argued with before it exists.

The workflow

Four phases, and only the stages this kind of production actually has — a commercial has no bible, and showing one would make the tool read as television software to everybody who is not making television.
